What does Pending mean for BACS payments into my account?

When topping up your account via Bank Transfer, there are 2 main financial schemes that can be used:

• BACS
• Faster Payments

Though Faster Payments can be credited to your account within a few seconds to around 2 hours, BACS payments use a system that takes 3 days for the money to reach your account. This is often used by companies for salaries but can also be used for a variety of other reasons.

With Pockit, you are able to get your BACS payment credited into your account a day early, on the second day of the 3 day cycle, but this will only be available to use later in the day once it has cleared. Therefore, this will appear as a pending payment on your statement within your web and mobile app in the morning, with an estimate for when the funds will be added to your available balance.
